Hi folks! Welcome to the HeroHQ Weekly Roundup.
We’ve had a ton of new users join us since the game’s announcement and the forums are seeing a lot of activity – here’s just a small sampling of what’s been going on.
-People have been hard at work in the Riddles Forum: we had a string of riddles unlocked in rapid succession, but it looks like #10 is a stumper. Check out the clues in our Facebook Gallery, and then enter your answer here!
-Gametrailers.com released an awesome version of our launch trailer with “pop-ups” calling out interesting tidbits. Watch it here!
-Ryuuie has been doing an amazing job maintaining the Shattered Dimensions Megathread. If you drank up all the news in this post and found it just wasn’t enough, head there for a comprehensive list of all things SM:SD.
-Looks like folks are excited about the casting of Christopher Daniel Barnes (who voiced Spider-Man in the 90’s cartoon). There’s chatter all over the web, but I think EliteF50 sums it up well in his post:
I honestly couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw that the amazing C.D. Barnes will be involved with the new Spidey game! For those of you who don’t know who he is, he’s the man who voiced Spider-man in the 90s animated series. Personally, I think he is the best at playing our favourite web slinger.
-We revealed his involvement at WonderCon (check out the WonderCon Round-Up for more info there).
-For those of you who haven’t seen ‘em yet, check out our first reveal trailer, as well as Gamespot’s interview with Meghan Morgan.
-Fans speculate on which dimensions will be playable in the
Which Web-Slinger are you Anxious to Play As? thread. Elsewhere on the boards, comic die-hards debate over Symbiotes and their place in Spidey’s games, and the work in our Fanart Thread continues to impress. Nice work, guys!
-In general Spidey news, last Friday Marvel released an interesting teaser image, implying that Spider-Man may have joined the X-Men. Speculation is rampant on the interwebs (see what I did there?).
-Celebrity sighting on the boards: CBAKE of Marvel Blip fame hopped into a discussion on which spidey-villains have been most common, and he posted a link about the very first Spider-Man game ever!
That’s about it for this week’s Wrap-Up. As a final link, check out the “thank-you" thread started by The White Knight, directed at all the developers working hard on the game. Nice!

It’s nice to see things take off a bit. I’m looking forward to a larger site with more information, and more organized forums once we’ve got enough to spread things out into new folders/categories.

Christopher Daniel Barnes is a good pick. I liked Neil Patrick Harris. I wonder if he’s in too?
