Over at the Marvel boards and Gamefaq boards there has been alot of demand to have Jean Grey playable in the game.  I would love to have Jean Grey in the game, she is the character I want most.

I feel jean grey would be a fantastic edition to the game Marvel ultimate Alliance 2.

Somebody created this petition, and it has well over 300 signatures now.  What are your thoughts on her?

I’m with you, matthood5. Jean Grey is an unique character with unique powers, perfect for a game like this. Her movelist could be a mix of psychic and phoenix based powers. I really missed a psychic character in MUA1 + I want more females in the roster to have a more balanced and varied roster.

If Emma Frost or Psylocke (especially Psylocke, being the fav character of Kalina) are playable, I’ll also be happy, but I hope Jean Grey wins.

I have a nagging suspicion that Jean would be too similar to Invisible Woman, but will keep my fingers firmly crossed.

I think Jean Grey turns into the Phoenix in the last game depending on what you choose. But I dont know if MUA 2 Fusion will follow up from where the last game ended, but I would love to play as Jean.

They are kind of similar in the telekinesis sense, but the telepathy and phoenix powers do seperate them out a bit.

I don’t think they are following what happened in the first game no, but I also would love to play as her.

I think she’s gonna be in the game...she’s a character that almost everybody wants, it was mentioned that they included characters that “fans have been clamoring for”.

Yeah I thought that as soon as I read the article, so we can only hope.

seriously, every forum for this game that I go to has a huge following of Jean Grey fans...there can’t be any other character that the “fans have been clamoring for” statement was implied for

Yeah I know! Marvel.com, Gamefaqs.com, IGN.com.

They all have people asking for her.  So i think that it would be a shame if she didn’t make the cut.

If she got in, I hope she would be voiced by either the woman that voiced her in the 90’s cartoon, or the woman who voiced her in X-Men Legends 1 and 2.  The woman who voiced her in the first Marvel Ultimate Alliance did not sound good in my opinion.  It did’nt suit Jean atall.

For costumes she should have Phoenix, Dark Phoenix, 90’s blue and yellow costumes, and more!

another costume i thought looked prety cool was the new x men one where they all looked kinda like their movie counterparts and the new x men version of the phoenix where she is actually made of fire with the black costume, im not too keen on the ultimate versions though maybe if they had the one from the first xml game that was ok but i didnt like what they did in the second game by trying to merge her phoenix costumes with her ultimate ones
