Emma is a character I believe could make it into the game as a playable, given than she is winning in the official site’s poll. Her main competition are other psychics, x-men and females, in particular Jean and Psylocke. Jean not appearing in the poll gives me hope she may already be a definite member of the roster- she’s got so many fans that it would be a joke voting for the other three characters she competes with. In fact, I think that if she IS a playable character then it will be kept a secret until closer to the release date, because that ‘could’ send her fans into temporary game buying frenzy . Psylocke- well she’s Kalina’s fav apparently, and Kalina says she has her ‘favourite character’ in the game.
Emma is a very cool character and I really missed psychics when playing MUA.

I think it’s certainly possible that all three are in, but not all three playable. I prefer Jean Grey for her unique psychic-phoenix powers. On the other hand, Emma Frost offers a mix of psychic-diamond form powers and Psylocke psychic-ninja powers. All three characters have a huge amount of fans, not only Jean Grey. A dream team of only psychics (Jean Grey, Emma Frost, Psylocke and Cable) would be fantastic.

If Jean Grey is without a doubt out, I’m hoping for the White Queen.

i know what you mean with Jean Grey about the phoenix powers but i think the developers wouldnt do those powers justice take for instance XML2 her normal phoenix powers were a bit lame looking the need to make more use of the full phoenix raptor.For me atm in XML2 (lv30 somthing) her only decent power is the mental guardian im not exactly sure how powerfull dark phoenix gets, plus with Jean Grey and with Psylocke there powers are purly psychic whereas with Emma Frost her powers would not only be psychic but give physical damage bonuses. this would be a definate bonus because as we all know when there are alot of psychics in the marvel games the number of psychic defence enemies rises drastically like in XML1 as soon as you unlock Psylocke there is a massive amount of psychic resistant enemies. which is unfair to the player because Psylock could have been a real powerhouse in the game but because of he way they developers made the game there was little point in taking anny psychics on your team.

Maybe they’ll give her a Phoenix-claw attack or something like that? Telekinesis can also inflict physical damage. I’m not sure if she can inflict fire damage.

All 3 psychics have their individual talents that make them different.

Jean - Psychic with the Phoenix Force
Emma - Psychic with an Organic Diamond Form
Psylocke - Psychic with incredible martial art skills

I would love to see these characters but definatley Jean the most.

Maybe they’ll give her a Phoenix-claw attack or something like that? Telekinesis can also inflict physical damage. I’m not sure if she can inflict fire damage.

That is true but I rather have Marvel Girl in their or at least a costume for her. Like what they did with Spider Woman they had the Julia Carpenter version and May Parker.
I rather have Emma Frost no doubt but you still got to remember than she can’t use her telekinesis when in her diamond form.
I’d like to see when the X-men were neutral what there were doing through all of the storyline and even though they were neutral I still rather have Emma then Jean. Jean has just been in both of the XML games and quite frankly she was the exact same. I had nothing wrong with that but I’m afraid that it could be a waste to have her in there if shes just like how she was in XML. However you can have many more posibilities with Emma and Psylocke Emma can use her diamond form for extra power and she can also use the telekinesis and she can do some stuff that Jean cannot like put fear into the opponenents minds. Psylocke can use her ninja fighting her speed and the Telekinesis and her dagger and/or sword. I would love to see them in the game and just thinks about the fusions they could do. I can imagine Emma with Iron Man and when she’s in her crystal form Iron Man blast some plasma ray and she reflects it at the enemies and Psylocke with Invisble Woman and Sue turns her invisible and out of nowhere you just see the people yelling as the fall to the ground. Ah all the possilbilities with those two....

I would way rather have Jean, but I do like Emma and would definatly play as her.

Oh yeah I’m sorry thats what I meant. I kept thinkning who else has Telekinesis so I kept writing it down. Thanks. i liked Jean alot in the XML games but I dont want another one when they could easily fill the sopt will someone like Emma or better.

I personally thought Emma was quite weak in X-Men Legends, her powers just scared people off or something along those lines.  She didn’t have any mind bolts or anything.  So if she was used she would need a total makeover in her powers.

as for her abilities id want the developers to give her a combination of her XML powers namely the Fear/Terror power along with more projectile attacks like psychic bolts etc and as for her diamond form obviously she would need the diamond form but maybe they could include some melee diamond attacks or like in XML have the hardness and shell might passive attacks, also she would need to have either psychic combat bonuses or diamond attack bonuses for the diamond bonus that would only be able to add to melee in diamond form though.

Sounds good.  And yes, I like her Wolverine and the X-Men series voice too.  It suits her.
