Im playing Legendary as my second playthrough. I transferred my stats from my first save. I just started Act 3. Im using a team of:

Green Goblin
Jean Grey
Iron Fist
Nick Fury

And so far, its been TOO easy. I thought it would be VERY hard or something. The only character who died was Jean Grey during the Iron Man fight, but that was just once. I was expecting my characters to be dropping like dead flies like in the first game. Anyone else agree that its too easy?

It would be better to start legendary on the 1st playtrough, dont you think?

It IS too easy. I never used Nick Fury (except once in the last level. Ironically, he DID drop like a fly.).

I did notice it gets a lot harder on the last stage. Up to that point it’s cake.

Excuse me? What are you talking about? I switch my characters regularly and its still easy. The team i said is my current team.

well than, to that i say congrats on being so awesom, im currently using green goblin, gambit, iceman, and storm

im doin it 4 the wii tho, i rented it 4 wii and bout it 4 360, cuz i gots the red ring and will fix it eventualy, storm is beast in that game!!! and thing is realy good 2

Legendary was freaking hard for me...the further I got. At about Act 2 is when it started getting hard, during the Chem Plant, Escaping the Chem Plant, and Iceland it was just ridiculous. My characters were really dropping like flies, I had to stick with Jean and Thor and spam their powers just to get through to the end.

Somehow, the final fight against Fury turned out to be one of the easiest fights after Act 1.

So, good on you for thinking its too easy...cause it is really too hard for me >.<

i dunno. I’m definitely not bragging. I’m frustrated about it. Maybe you had the wrong boosts. And don’t get me wrong, I used Thor, too.

What if someone plays the hardest difficulty on their first playthrough?

Is it unbeatable?  Or does it just provide a lot of challenge.

I’ve watched a lot of gameplay videos of people’s first playthroughs on the medium setting, and within 4 or 6 melee hits, guards fall and robots blow up.  *Lame

Sadly, you can’t play through it on hard until you’ve beaten it once.

no, but after you’ve beaten it you can start a brand new game on legendary.  but it starts you out at level 30 IIRC, so it doesn’t make a huge difference in difficulty (other than you no longer have all those really nice boosts you collected).

Legendary was pretty easy.

Most of my problems arose from glitches (like the Tinkerer’s protectors dropping off the map but still shielding him, making it impossible to win).

You could equip boosts like the one that takes away 90% of your power damage, but that just forces you to play the game as melee. You could also deduct some of the passive defensive powers for your characters.

Yeah, they really need to up the difficulty levels in the next game.

i’m sorry people but i’ve been at this for a while and i have got to let this out, does anyone notice that legendary mode was a bit.......i don’t know easy? i mean i’m sorry i’m not trying to exaggerate or anything i’m just a bit dissapointed in this, i don’t know if it’s cause i started it from after finishing hero mode, if it is i appologize for bringing this up, anyway is there anyone else who noticed this?

also, saw this posted in another thread; you could always take points away from your characters.

I am too much a powergamer to do this (it just feels wrong somehow), but it would make it harder.

That makes powers less effective, yes, but doesn’t affect your body and strike. You’re still overpowered. It just forces you to become a melee player out of frustration.
