I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t necessarily agree with VV on a lot of things(Mainly the way they distribute information), but seriously a lot of you guys are over reacting a bit over the Cable trailer that’s been revealed today.

What type of move sets were you dudes expecting? Sure, during the Civil War, he did have technological abilities that sort of mimicked his telepathy and telekinesis, but other than Civil War and up to around issue 34 of Cable & Deadpool, he rarely ever used those abilities during combat. For the majority of his existence, he’s been a gun toter and a hand to hand fighter with the occasional use of a knife or his psymitar(sp?). While do agree that they could have given him a better melee power, the gun powers are accurate and stay true to his character. Any of you dudes read any recent Cable comics? Hell even any of his older series from the 90’s. He’s always been the soldier type. You guys act like he should be “Jesus Cable” in this game. While I like a ridiculously over powered telepath more than the next X-men fan, I acknowledge the fact that we have Jean Grey already. And other than Deadpool(which mainly uses his swords anyway), we don’t have any gun toting characters(No Punisher due to “licensing issues"). Obviously I’m not a big fan of how VV gets things done, but some of you dudes should really get off their backs about stuff like this. Any real Cable fan knows they got him right and that they made him true to his character. While they may not have made the Cable that you might want, they did make one that represents the character accurately. Plus his “Particle Stream” sounds like a Hyper Viper beam which ****ing owns.

While we all have the right to nit pick and complain about specific things, I think it’s ignorant to say that they did a horrible job on the character. Keep in mind that no one here has played him besides that dude from IGN who is not a Cable fan.

You know, you make a very valib point....i remember in x-men legends 2 he was a gun toting character.....

Actually in XML2, he had 2 guns moves, a telekinesis and a telepathy move. The problem is they all sucked.........hard.

Yeah...actually I think this idea is growing on me....I was never a major telekenetic or telepathy fan.

Very true, cable has never been big on his powers becuase he cant use them without dieing, the only thing i can see sucking about him is the fact that the gun moves may suck period and force him to be a character that can only attack in the mid ranges, from what i saw from the vid he had a pistol that he used like DP, a bouncy grenade gun which looked kool, and a laser cannon thing, and then his little force ground pound.  still though he has the highest potential out of the three we have seen to be good, at least he isnt a blatant rip off or someone who has just one move done over and over.

and as for the emma fans....SHE SUCKS!!!! quit whining about you wanting her in there.  Her is what she can do:
1. Turn into diamond
2. Telepathy

THATS IT!

oh and when she goes into diamond form she cant use her telepathy, she sucks and for those people who keep saying shes should be in the game because shes leader of the xmen...WRONG!  Cyclops is leader of hte xmen shes just the new head telepath because xavier is wandering about after getting his head shot all to hell

Cable will be a beast in this game. He’ll be a great ranged fighter. I think the Particle stream is going to be his rape move.

The emma fans are just passionate and that is all. I don’t think Cyke should be in it either(bring it fanboys). He offers nothing to the table. Emma in my opinion offers more than Cyke. Rogue should be the next x-man added. Her and Hawk has the most votes. Nova is also requested.

Before I saw that he was a gunner & runner, I thought Cable was going to be some Jean knockoff or something like that. But after seeing that all of his moves are gun based, I’m pretty psyched for him. Just give him a Stryfe alt and he’s perfect for me

I personally like Cables moveset. One energy(beam), one impact(pound) and not sure about the other two. Fire and impact? I hope they give him a passive that increases damage done to robots/nanite and one that adds mental damage onto all attacks.

What do Emma and Rogue offer that Cyclops doesn’t? Please don’t take that as an attack. I srsly would like to know ppls opinions on why Rogue and Emma are above other characters that have been requested b/c I honestly don’t see what all the hullabaloo is aboot.
