I can’t believe that activision/marvel/disney (not quite sure who’s responsible) took that DLC down.

I knew I wanted the game since before release, didn’t have the money, and asked for it for christmas. When i got it i realized it had been pre-ordered, so I was thrilled at the fact that I could have Juggernaut. Imagine my surprise when I got home a few days later (I was on vacation and away from my Xbox) and couldn’t enter the code. I contacted a few different sources, and couldn’t believe that my pre-order code was invalid because they took down the DLC.

So, whoever has the rights to the game, PUT THAT DLC BACK UP FOR DOWNLOAD!!! I WANT JUGGERNAUT!!!

There is some hope of a Gold edition, at least according to Kalina (developer):

One last note on DLC.  We are trying, trying to bring it back - first by appealing to the ‘unseen forces’ and second by seeing if we can cobble together a Gold edition with the content.  Nothing for sure yet, but there are efforts being made.  If something does happen, you will hear it from me!

No guarantees, but at least a possibility that we might be able to get these six characters.

Hope they bring it back because one of the main reasons I just bought it was so I could play it online with my buddy who has them.  Now I can’t because I need the compatability update that is no longer available since they took it all down, and I don’t know if he’d be willing to share it from his PSN, given weither its even still on the servers and just not in the store or if its completely removed.  This was a really dumb move on whoever’s part it was that removed it all. Might be returning the game if this is the case, since I’m not opening it until I hear back from my buddy.

i actually did get my dlc but my 360 got the ring of death but luckily i got it fixed however i had to redownload everything but by the time that happened the dlc was taken off and that pissed me of really bad. i wonder if someone has a memory unit for the 360 that they give away which has the dlc and i’ll be able to play as them again? but a gold edition just like the first game would be nice as well

*signs* Just bought this game yesterday expecting to be able to download the extra characters and especially the compatability pack so I can play with my buddy online and what do you know, its not there.  Freakin stupid, I’m returning the game since I didn’t open it and I’m getting something else from a different company that actually supports their games completely.  This is outragious!!! I can’t believe this bull.  Activision isn’t going to get support from me ever again if this is the case.  BRING IT BACK!!!

i actually found out that i still have my dlc under my purchase history and i re-downloaded it but it only comes up when im only on xbox live cuz i had the ring of death before and whenever i downloaded something i already bought it says that its assigned to another console because microsoft gave me a new console instead of my old one. i think i have to erase the memory for the game in order to get it back because when i first downloaded my characters the game would freeze everytime i played as cable or black panther because there was too much memory so i deleted the memory for that as well as some other games. so i hope i get it to work next time!
