Question Asking Etiquette Guide (Please Read Before Posting a Question)

I’ve been seeing quite a few “News Lad/Dr Truffle” topics lately so I think we should set up some guidelines as to minimize their stress and not to overwhelm them.

-Please don’t put “News Lad/Drtruffle please read” in your title. While you may think this increases your chance of getting an answer, they read plenty of posts and they’ll respond when they can
-Don’t ask about if certain characters are going to be in, the MUA2 Official Character Reveals Thread is the place to be for character updates
-Make sure to keep up to date with the Developer Blogs and other news so that you aren’t asking questions that have been answered.
-In addition, please run a search before posting a new topic
-Try to keep your title short and to the point if possible, you have the whole first post to add details
-IMDB and Wikipedia are not always legit sources of information
-Please present your questions in a nicely formatted list, like bullet points or numbers rather than long run-on sentences. This makes it easier for them to read and to respond
-Don’t expect him to answer all your questions and please be courteous at all times

Yeah, good thread! It surprises me how many people are still creating threads to ask if a certain character is in. How many times did News Lad answer that question with the same answer? I have to admit I’ve created topics with a title with News Lad in it just to make sure he would answer (although I don’t think my questions were wrong). Next time I’ll be straight to the point with my titles. smile

Wow, this is great!  Thanks guys, I really appreciate it, and I’m sure DrTruffle will too.
I’m bogged down in a sound task at the moment, but I’ll try and be on later today.  smile

I would also recommend that people number their questions or make them into bullet points. It makes it a lot easier for News Lad, drtruffle, etc. to read and to respond to each question if you organize them instead of just make a huge run-on sentence.

Great post Beast!
I was wondering how much more Newslad and DrTruffle were able to take in terms of answering multiple questions daily! Hopefully this will ease a little bit of stress for them and we can organize or questions in an efficient manner.
