Storm would be the superhero you do not want on your bad side. You’d go out to wash your car and bamn!  you go out to play footy in the park and bamn! And each time not sure if it’s her or not smile

Also you have to factor in the fusions now. We saw Storm and Human Torch (bad ass!) and I think I saw Mr Fantastic and Storm as well. I wonder what storm and Hulk will do?

Welcome to the forums!  grin
I too, hope that she is made more powerful. What was your favourite of her moves?

Here is a power profile I have made. My favourite move would be Wind Tunnel and Lightning Fists.
Edit: 23/2/09
I’m going to start adding the best sounding fan-made moves for Storm, suggested on this thread, to this post

Storm
Costumes:
Original- Picture
Retro 80’s- Picture
Onslaught 90’s- Picture
X-Treme X-men- Picture

Lightning Strike - Blast
Similar to the previous game’s attack, but upgrades to become thicker and more destructive

Aloft - Radial
Casts faster than MUA whirlwind. has a pop-up effect on surrounding enemies. attack has initial and landing damage. also affects items. it looks like an stout tornado. Charge then release for greater knock-back

Ball Lightning - Projectile
Activated like a drone and follows Storm around until she is close to an enemy then attacks-(like Ms Marvel’s Photon Burst)- but it chains to more enemies with an explosion of lightning at each stop. Upgrades to make longer chains (3 max), and at highest level you get two spheres. Imagine the criss-crossing action! :D

Fog- Debuff
Surrounds enemies with a thick fog (transparent enough for you to see through) that renders them immobile if they haven’t already noticed you, or just lowers their accuracy and speed if they have. Good for stealth
Upgrades to increase time length, size, and debuff

Snowstorm- Radial
Snowstorm forms around one enemy, freezing them and causing nearby enemies to slip over. Upgrades to do damage to the surrounding foes, and increases the amount that become frozen.

Blitz- Radial
same as in MUA

Wind Tunnel- Special
like telekinesis, pick up enemies and/or items using the wind. At higher levels it can lift multiple and larger targets

Typhoon- Xtreme
enormous combination of wind, hail and lightning. Enemies are spiraled around Storm in a dark, noisy hurricane until a lightning bolt comes down the center and forks to hit each enemy.

Warmth- Boost
Storm increases the team’s recovery rate

Lightning Fists- Boost
Lightning streams from Storm’s hands. It adds lightning damage to her melee attacks making her better in combat, and increases the size and damage of all lightning attacks.

Edit: 23/2/09

(From Brazilian_Fire)
Artic Winds- Hold-down ranged
‘Storm projects a continuous stream of snow! When she’s flying she’ll have one knee up and one hand back and the other blasting everyone.
The power will look like a snowy cloud thats spinning out of her hands and will slow everyone at 1st! Then when leveled up, it’ll freeze everything solid!’

Edit: 25/2/09
Lightning Ripple- Blast, levels up to become radial
Storm calls three lightning strikes down; one directly in-front of her, followed by one a few metres in-front of her, then one more a little further away. When you level it up, it adds another 3 lightning bolts that will travel in the opposite direction. So at it’s maximum potential, Storm could use the power, and six lightning bolts hit the ground close to her, then the next six hit the ground in a circle pattern around of storm, then the next six making a bigger circle.

FUSIONS
Storm + Cap, Stalagmite Smite: Storm freezes a group of enemies in place from their feet up, then Captain America throws his shield and it hits each enemy, shattering them.

Edit: 28/2/09, Redline Racer’s ideas

Invisible Woman & Storm: Vacuum Tube
The Invisible Woman corrals the foes in an invisible tube as Storm uses cyclones to pull the air out.  Trapped in the tube, the enemies pound at the walls and struggle to breathe until they all pass out.  Maybe, as a nod to actual vacuum tubes, Storm can stick a bolt of lightning in at the end as well.

Storm/Iceman & Invisible Woman: Snow Globe
Storm starts a hailstorm while the Invisible Woman puts the enemies in a hemisphere.  It seals quickly locking the opponents in with a localized hailstorm.  As the invisible globe bounces around, the hailstones inside ricochet all over, knocking out and freezing the opponents.

Haha yes, and imagine how useful she would be in Australia at this time with all the recent bushfires :(
The fire starters would get fried!

I havent played that, no. Can you explain the move?
In City of Heroes there is a move called Gale in the Weather Manipulation powerset which is a forward blast of air that knocks back all enemies infront of you. This could be adapted to suit Storm as a ‘hold button’ power called ‘Wind Summon’ that shoots a forward stream of air knocking enemies into things, damaging them. And you can rotate while holding it down, which could (after a full spin) turn the move into a tornado like in MUA1.

first of Splitting Sky starts off with a electrifing lightning sphere surounding the character (anyone near the sphere will be shocked) then emits a medium range lighting blast (similar to chain lightning, but not a chain) beam like force and it does heavy damage with high elemental damage (could compare to cyclops’s optic rage with a energy beam/burst move lol

Storm was good in the first game but hopefully with an improved power set she will be given the goddess status she deserves.

I wonder if they will include Black Panther as they became a couple or there will be a hint of this in the game??

Who needs Storm when you have Thor! Kidding! I actually like Storm. Not a huge fan, but she was cool in MUA and is a cool character overall. I have a friend who is a huge fan of hers, he always had her on the team. I think she was the only character he never changed. He did have Thor for a while but didn’t see the point while he had her.
