I got it yesterday, and I have enjoyed it alot so far.
I have already unlocked 2 costumes, with one to go, and have already got a whole load of trophies.
I give it a pass so far :D

However GAME Pr Orders for the UK Uncaged Edition are supposed to get an email with the download code for the arena, but nobody has received it.  Hopefully we will get it today.

Ok, time for some constructive criticism. I finished the game and I really liked it, a lot. Though I really believe you could’ve told a much better story if you would’ve stuck completely to the comics and not made this a Movie tie-in. We would’ve been spared boring boss characters such as Agent Zero and the abomination, by fans hatefully dubbed, Barakapool and adamantium bullets that cause amnesia. The Sentinel fight was amazing, especially when wearing one of those beautiful comic costumes, makes it really feel like a comic book moment come to life. I wish the entire game would’ve felt liked that.

Next, variety. This is a problem a lot of games suffer from. I love the combat in the game, you’ve done a great job with the movesets and all and really turned Wolverine into the unstoppable weapon, but it would’ve been great if you would’ve build in more gun turret sections or something similar, to mix the gameplay up a little bit. As fun as the game was, it got a little tiresome after slashing through several dozen waves of enemies. Those are one of the moments where you just want to sit back, relax and gun everything down. You should definitely have let the Wade Wilson section in where we get to sniper and back up Logan, would’ve been a good moment to take a breather from the constant slaughter.
Next time, maybe try to really use Wolverines military background, he can cause mayhem not just with his claws. You could also mix the gameplay up by adding moves like using a Soldier as a shield and using his gun to shoot others. Or have a quick kill moves where he grabs a soldier, pulls out the pin of one of his grenades, and throws the soldier back into another group of enemies. Half a dozen soldiers taken out right there.

Next, polish. I don’t think you had to rush, because I read often comments about how you had plenty of time and worked on it before the Movie was filmed, but there are quite a lot of unnecessary bugs and glitches, that just didn’t need to be there. Also some framerate issues and textures often take a couple seconds to load. Nothing game breaking so far, but they stick out. There are also minor things like hearing the sound from the last mission when the new one loads, still being in a combat animation when radio transmission starts and I can’t get out of it, getting a message that I cleared the last miession like a minute later, when I’m already on the next one, stuff like that. Again, not game breaking.

That’s all I can think of so far. Comics would’ve provided better story elements characters, break up the slashing with other gameplay sections for a little breather and just make sure to iron out the kinks the next time. Otherwise, a really entertaining game. Keep it up Raven.

Is the game that short?  Or could Jingoku not put the game down because it was so awesome?  It just barely came out!

I had the game since wednesday. And yes, it’s awesome and it could’ve been so much more awesome if it wouldve been based purely on the comics.

Recommendations: The next game would benefit greatly from a much tighter, closer camera system. Also I don’t think glowing orbs are necessary in a Wolverine game.

Pros: The healing factor, the overall brutality, environmental kills, the costumes, and the feral senses/lunge. You guys really nailed how much of a bad @** Wolverine is.

Overall awesome job guys! The makings are there for Raven to create the definitive Wolverine game; it just needs a little bit of work. On a personal note I would love to see the next game to be completely comic based with no movie ties whatsoever.

i didnt like the fact that at the begining while you were fighting you also had to read what was on the screen and then when you were just moving about and running nothing owuld appear until you were in a fight or about to kill someone.

overall great gameplay really good graphics and i have only played the first to levels because i want to make this game last and i have to say its looking REALLY good.

p.s i do agree it should have been based on the comics alot more… smile (still a great game)

I played the game for about two hours this morning, then I had to go to work, so im still in the early levels but I really think the game has reached a new level of super human awesomeness.  I love the combat moves i’ve gotton to use so far and can’t wait to unclock some more.  The lunge attack is a very fun and efficient way to destroy enemys.

I’m loving it so far! But some parts seem to drag on and on, I’m just now on the Agent Zero fight and I’ve been playing many hours (at least it feels like many hours) straight.

Pros: Regeneration? AWESOME
Upgrades? AWESOME
Blood and gore? AWESOME
Boss fights (so far) PRETTY GOOD
Lunge? LOVING IT. It’s like WOS’s Web Strike for me. It never gets old and it’s fun and usefull as hell.

Cons: Some glitches here and there. I’ve been launched to the top of the map by a WENDIGO. The dog tags always bounce around like they’re on crack, even when Logan is standing still. Oh, and I’ve been stuck on a couple objects before.
The only really serious mess up was the game freeze which happened at an unfortunate time. But I blame that on my lava fueled Xbox and the meltable disc upon which this awesome game is coded into.

I like this game alot! People are right when they say it could have been even better if it had follow the comic instead of the horrible movie! The combat is awesome, you feel like wolverine. It is very tight and not floaty at all. Raven studios you rock! Hopefully next game is even better and follows the comic instead of the movie.

I finished! Man, the Sentinel had me on my toes, hell, that was the first time I died during a boss fight in this game.
Nice cameo from a certain someone.
I think I see a possible sequal coming too. To the game at least, with the post apocalyptic future side story.
