MARVEL™ AND ACTIVISION®
ANNOUNCE X-Men™ Destiny

A new breed of mutant heroes will invade game consoles this fall in X-Men(TM): Destiny, from Marvel(TM) Entertainment and Activision Publishing, Inc.

The all-new original video game casts players as new mutant recruits in a rich, branching storyline that features a deep element of choice and gives players ultimate control of their destiny.

In X-Men: Destiny, players will be put in the role of a new mutant who joins the X-Men; they will have to make choices to decide the ultimate destiny of their character.\, X-Men: Destiny is placing an emphasis on "choice" as its main focus.

X-men Destiny veers slighty from the norm in X-men games, with our favourite characters from the IP featuring as NPC's rather then playable characters.

Character Information:

Grant Alexander, a football hero from Georgia, joins Aimi Yoshida as known playable characters.

Grant is in San Francisco hoping to land a starting spot for the University of California, Berkeley, Varsity Squad. Oblivious to the world tensions, Grant doesn’t see that the peace rally and threatening protesters around him have any connection to his life. When he discovers his own mutant powers, Grant is faced with the realization that mutant/human relations are absolutely his problem.

Smuggled out of Japan by her mutant parents before the entire family could be rounded up and incarcerated in the new mutant camps, Aimi arrives in San Francisco hidden on a tanker ship. She is too young and frightened to appreciate her parents’ motivations for sending her away, and instead feels only the bitterness and anger of abandonment. Small in size but strong in mental focus, Aimi is the mutant ability expert. She specializes in efficient mutant power usage and her smaller build gives her the advantage over slower enemies. Aimi’s fighting style is very acrobatic and graceful.
